The Heart That Smiles Mobile Dentists, Inc. is a family of highly-trained dental professionals and staff who work hand in hand with coordinated efforts to provide dental services in unconventional settings.
Our aim is to make dental care accessible and convenient by going into childcare facilities, schools, or locally organized social meetings to channel the appropriate dental care to children and young adults. Whether the child has private insurance, coverage from state and federal-funded programs or have no coverage at all, they are still eligible to receive the needed services. Our services are without bias and offering the opportunity to all who would like to avail.
We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented dental assistant who will make our school-based dental program dentists more efficient and pleasant for patients. Must have top-notch customer service and and love working with children. Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. Must have Coronal Polishing and Sealant Placement certificate.
Responsibilities
- Travel to schools throughout Chicago-land
- Provide coronal polishing, fluoride treatment, and place sealants
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records
Skills
- Proven experience as a dental assistant
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Excellent communication and people skills and able to work well with children
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized, friendly, and reliable
- High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred
- Additional certification or training (e.g. EFDA)'

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
