Private practice Dental office in Salem, MA is currently seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team! As a Dental Hygienist with us, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the dental team, ensuring high-quality patient care and satisfaction. You will also be expected to maintain a professional and positive demeanor at all times and to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
    Conduct oral health assessments on patients and review medical history
    Clean patients' teeth and provide oral hygiene care and education
    Take and develop dental x-rays and update patient records as needed
    Administer local anesthetic to patients as directed by the dentist
    Assist the dentist with other procedures as needed, such as fillings and extractions
    Provide post-operative care instructions to patients and follow up with patients to monitor their progress
    Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment, and ensure proper sterilization techniques are used

Requirements:
    Current dental hygienist license in the state of MA
    New graduates are welcome!
    Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
    Strong communication and patient education skills
    Familiarity with dental software and electronic record-keeping
    Knowledge of infection control and OSHA regulations
    Willingness to work flexible hours as needed, including evenings and weekends.
