In the Loop Dental is looking for a full-time hygienist to join our team! We are a thriving one doctor general dental office located in the heart of the Loop. We have an incredibly dedicated team with a commitment to excellence, integrity, and high-quality oral care for our patients. We see patients Monday-Thursday 8-5 and are not affiliated with a DSO.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated dental hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about oral health, patient care, and has excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct dental cleanings and preventive procedures
- Take dental X-rays and intraoral photos
- Perform oral cancer screenings
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and proper care
- Record patient information accurately in electronic health records (Eaglesoft)
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Administer local anesthetic as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid dental hygienist license in Illinois
- CPR certification
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficient in using dental software (Eaglesoft)
- Experience with intraoral scanning (iTero) is preferred but we can train the right person
