Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a critical role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where your expertise will be valued.
Duties:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Conduct oral health assessments and screenings
- Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral health care instructions
- Administer local anesthesia as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and medical history
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
- Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment
Experience:
- Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and medical terminology
- Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software for dental imaging systems
- Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity
- Ability to accurately document medical information
