We are seeking a compassionate and organized dental hygienist to join the team at our private 1 doctor dental office in Sagamore Hills, OH (Summit County).

Part-time position 2 days per week and flexibility with hours, preference for Tuesday/Thursday. New grads welcome to apply!

Responsibilities:
-Perform comprehensive oral exams to assess patients oral health status
-Conduct thorough dental cleanings
-Take dental x-rays as directed by the dentist
-Perform periodontal assessments and assist in the treatment of gum disease
-Administer anesthetic as needed
-Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and diet recommendations
-Document treatment plans, procedures performed and patient outcomes accurately
-Assisting with sterilizing instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols
-Typical new patient appt 1 hr and 15 minutes, and existing adult patient 1 hour appt.

Requirements:
-Valid dental hygienist license in the State of Ohio
-CPR certification
-Excellent communication skills
-Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy
-Ability to work effectively as a team player
