The right candidate will possess oral surgery and sterilization experience and be dedicated to maintaining high standards of patient care. Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain patient clinical history, impressions, and x-rays/CBCT's.
- Assist in sterilization procedures and tray setup.
- Support the surgical team during procedures.
- Help manage medications, monitor PMP compliance, and assist with patient communication.
- Monitor patient vitals and assist with recovery.
- Participate in in-office consultations and postoperative follow-up.
- Educate patients about their treatment plans and aftercare.
- Organize and restock office supplies.
- Maintain accurate patient records using an EMR system.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Dental Assistant certification.
- BLS, ACLS certification.
- DAANCE certification preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
- Must be highly motivated and committed to a long-term role within the practice.
Compensation
- Salary is commensurate with experience.
