Key Responsibilities
- Foster a welcoming, reassuring patient experience—endearing patients to feel they're “a patient, not a number.”
- Take and interpret dental records: using cutting-edge digital technologies for the most thorough assessment
- Collaborate with Dr. Scheive on individualized treatment plans rooted in a conservative, patient-first philosophy.
- Deliver gentle, thorough periodontal treatment with attention to patient comfort.
- Educate patients on home hygiene, nutrition, and preventive strategies.
- Maintain clear, HIPAA-compliant patient documentation.
- Uphold rigorous sterilization and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in Illinois.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Excellent communication and empathy; comfort with modern dental technologies.
- Detail-oriented with a genuine desire to enhance patient well-being.
- Flexibility to assist with evening or occasional weekend scheduling.
